I'm pretty sure this was the only text book I read completely from the whole course. Pretty good!

A thorough handbook on alcohol--its use, misuse, abuse, dependence and treatment. The author does spend some time on other drugs, as well, but the main focus is on alcohol. A great book for anybody who wants to become a substance abuse counselor, or who want a better understanding of the subject.
