Aug 29, 2017 I recently purchased an MS Surface Book and cannot download anything from the MS Store. This came about after MS did a Win 10 upgrade from 1607 to 1703. When I click. But it also won’t download to any of my Win 7 PCs either as the store seemed to know I am not on Win 10 when I try. Can't log in or download apps in Windows Store in.

I have Windows 10, and the store won't connect to the internet. The funny thing is, all my browsers (including Edge) work fine. Not only is the store not working, neither is Cortana, and I can't connect a Microsoft account to the computer. The problem is the same for other accounts.
Here's a screenshot:
As you can see, Chrome is working perfectly (Firefox is too, but it's just hidden), while the Windows store is having problems with internet.

Sometimes using proxy to connect to the internet may cause issues while connecting to the network.Follow the steps below to disable proxy:
- Open the New Modern Settings
- Select Network & Internet
- Go to Proxy
- Disable Use Proxy Server
Now Open Windows Store it should work if it doesn't try to also Disable Automatically Detect Settings & Use Script Setup.Alternately Try Enabling them, & some enable disabled combination with these 3 options.
Even after that if it doesn't opens Try the Following:
Navigate to
%LOCALAPPDATA%PackagesMicrosoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbweLocalCache
and delete all the files and folders. Open the store. Now it should open.
According to TheWindowsClub.com website article and this question, if Windows UWP apps (Store, News, Edge, etc) are not able to connect to the internet with Error 80072EFD, then you might need to enable IPv6 if it's disabled. To get started, press Win + R, type ncpa.cpl
and hit the Enter button. On this page, you can find your currently connected network profile. Right-click on it and select Properties.
Make sure you are in the Networking tab. Following that, search for Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and select the corresponding checkbox.
If this doesn't work your problem, please check these articles. They might help you.

Experienced the 0x80072efd problem. Has cost me hours if not days to solve. The solution that gave instant resolution is the following command from a admin command prompt:
netsh winhttp reset proxy

Windows Store Won't Download Apps Windows 10
Windows Store: 0x80072F8F - Unable to download Apps
Hey, /r/Windows10. I've come with another issue.
As of recent, I'm unable to download apps from the Windows Store. I recently bought Gears of War 4, but since, I've have 'Starting Download', followed by the error of '0x80072F8F'.
Windows Store Wont Download Anything 2017
A lot of the sites I've tried to troubleshoot the error are regarding either time changing, or Windows Activation. The former has been tried for a fix to no avail, and the latter is irrelevant as it states my Windows is activated anyhow.
Current steps tried to fix problem:
Change time of computer, no change
Tried another app to download, returned same error
I was wondering if any is having this issue currently, has had it, or knows the fix to it.
Thanks!
EDIT: Seems I haven't been able to update from the 25th of February either. Didn't notice that.
