Watching Vudu movies offline
I just switched from iTunes to vudu because I'm sick of iTunes not playing nice with other devices.
Re: Can I download movies I've purchased to my PC? Note - you should put your movie downloads where VUDU cannot locate them. In the past 2 weeks VUDU has deleted over 220 movies that I had previously downloaded. I've put in problem reports - and I have spoken with VUDU rep (on the first occurence). Download on PCs & Macs. Adjust Your Resolution Settings. You should go to Vudu.com, account preferences and set your download resolution to either SD or HD. Find Movies & TV Shows and Download. Under the My Purchases tab in the Vudu to Go app you will find all the movies you have either purchased or rented.
I have unreliable internet service where I currently live and would like a device to download all my vudu movies to so I can watch them when I am at home. From what I have seen, either an Xbox 360, PS3 or PC would be the best ways.
Does anyone have experience in having large offline vudu collections, and if you use a PS3/Xbox 360 can you download to an external HDD?
