I have been playing around with my 256/8 SP2 and I was pleased to see that it can run without issues games like GTA IV, Mafia 2 and Starcraft 2 at reasonable resolutions+detail level and still maintain a decent framerate.

I even connected an Xbox controller, and for all intent and purposes it looked like I was using an Xbox portable.

However I am starting to run out of space on my SSD, and that's when I suddenly remembered that the surface has a micro sd xc slot.

Why won't my apps go to sd card. Ask Question 4. I have a tablet that has little memory and I needed an sd card so I got one, but I still have 29 GB on the sd card and when I try to download an app it says insufficient memory because I ran out of room on my internal storage. I can't use the sd card to download apps. Tablet does not.

So here comes the question, do you guys think that I'd be able to get reading speeds decent enough off a class 10 microsd, in order to run games like GTA IV or Mafia 2 off of it?

If that s the case I will run to purchase a couple of 64GB ones, but I wanted to hear first if you guys thought it'd work.
