Microsoft Xbox One Dual Analog Controller Driver

If you've used an Xbox One Wireless Controller before, you'll be familiar with the binding process to pair a controller with a console, or in this case, the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows. Follow these steps to bind your controller to the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

Achieving DualShock compatibility with an Xbox360 Controller in ePSXe

Hi all,

I am attempting to play the classic Ape Escape from PS1 on my rig. Everything loads and runs perfectly, apart from one thing: When I use the sticks on my 360 pad, they don't work as one would expect.

When I press up on the left stick, the character in game only walks... yet when i move the stick in any other direction he will run - but only walk when pushing forward. I googled the issue, found no real help - and essentially people stated it was due to the 360 pad not working in the same way ad a DualShock pad would.

This is obviously quite game breaking for Ape Escape, as those pesky apes are, well... fast! And me walking to them is far from ideal and next to impossible if I remember correctly.

I have also tried Ape Escape 2 on the PS2 emulator and the same problem persists, but honestly I only want to play the Original as that is the one I have been craving for so long!

Any help would obviously be vastly appreciated,

Thanks,

Jake

I have a wired Xbox 360 Controller I am running Windows 8.1

EDIT: I have decided s YouTube video of the issue may help. The first part is without using Pokopad and using Lilypad, second play is with Pokopad enabled as the Controller plugin.

Please excuse my friend in the background, it shouldn't have been picking up TS chatter but it did!

Probably still processing, but hopefully you'll be able to see what issues I am having
